In Drunk, Thundercat explores themes of loneliness, boredom, and the unhealthy coping mechanisms that come with the mundane. Throughout the album, he uses Japanese culture, specifically anime shows, video games, and specific cities as an allegory for escape. Using these themes, as well as Thundercat’s eclectic personality,  my redesign focuses heavily on classic Japanese iconography and a meditating bigfoot figure to create a sense of tranquility and apathy while highlighting the themes of escape on the album.
